Race: Hermit Crabs

Nocturnal, originally from Larnach (Europe). Uncommon. They have below average magic including banishing. About 20% of hermit crabs have magic. Of those, about 20% have low power, 40% have below average, 20% have average, 15% have above average, and 5% have high. They have low anthropomorphism. They have four walking legs, two delicate arms with hands, and two large heavy claws. Some of them are hysterically afraid of leaving their shells. Some are fussy and constantly try on new shells, or other containers made more or less to suit; and a few crabs wear really freaky things as "shells." Hermit crabs tend to be reclusive. They do not use tattoo ink or cosmetics on their bodies, but sometimes decorate their shells -- most often with "no trespassing" signs.
